The Waggon and Horses is a traditional country pub and restaurant based in the picturesque South Yorkshire village of Oxspring.
Owned and run by Antony and Samantha Brewis, they operate six days a week (Tuesday to Sunday), offering comprehensive menus for a variety of dining experiences. From pub lunches to Sunday dinner and three course meals. They have a great selection of gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options plus a children’s menu.
Not forgetting their festive offerings, you can join them for lunchtime and evening Christmas meals throughout December along with dinner on Christmas day - make sure you book ahead!
Alongside their regular menus they host special evenings and events including pub favourites such as Fish Fridays and Quiz Nights.
If you’ve got something to celebrate, a business event or other large gathering, you can host your occasion in their dedicated Rafters Bar Function Room fully catered with buffet menu options.

Keeping the business safe and secure
We’ve been looking after The Waggon and Horses fire and security requirements for over ten years. From installations and renewal of equipment to annual maintenance and servicing.
As it’s always busy with patrons and staff, not only is it important that the premises are kept safe and secure, but also that all staff are trained in the use of equipment and know what to do in case of an emergency as such, we also offer regular staff training and equipment demonstrations.
WHAT THEY SAID
A huge part of owning a business is being safe in the knowledge that all our safety and security needs are taken care of and for that, we are grateful to have been on board with Infinite for the past 10 years. Before we became part of the Infinite family our security was definitely not up to scratch, however, Chris came and assessed our needs and after discussions of what our requirements were, came and installed everything we needed. The ongoing support we have received from Chris and Caroline is second to none with everything you would expect, but also with staff training in various areas such as fire and safety which is extremely important for us.
We are also kept updated on the latest relevant developments for our business. So here’s to the next 10 years working with Chris, Caroline and the Infinite team. We look forward to it and thank you to you all for keeping the business safe.
