Carbon Dioxide extinguishers need to be replaced/refilled every 10 years, all other years a service will be carried out on each fire extinguisher. Each fire extinguisher has a life span of 5 years, apart from CO2 which is 10 years.

Our quotation includes the annual servicing of fire extinguishers on-site.

Service Process:

1. Site Inspection:
   
   • Upon arrival, we will review your system logbook.
   • A visual inspection will be conducted to ensure all fire extinguishers are:
     • Unobstructed
     • Undamaged
     • Appropriately located, considering any changes to the building layout
   • We will verify that the site maintains the correct number of extinguishers.
2. Routine Testing:
   • Our engineers will perform routine testing in compliance with BS 5306 standards.
3. Documentation:
   • Once the service is complete, our engineer will update the logbook.
   • A service certificate will be issued for each system.
   • An engineer’s report will detail any recommendations or repairs required.

By accepting our Service and Maintenance proposal, you ensure that your fire extinguishers are regularly tested and inspected in accordance with:

• Manufacturer recommendations
• BS 5306 standards
• Insurance requirements
