Emergency lighting equipment should be serviced bi-annually as stated in the British standards. The emergency routes and exits require illumination to ensure safe escape of the building should the main lighting fail.

Realistically if you have lights in your premises you need emergency lights too. Regular maintenance and testing is vital for all fire protection systems.

Our quotation includes the six-monthly servicing of the installed Emergency Lighting System.

During each site visit, our engineer will:

1. Check the System Logbook: We will review your system logbook to ensure any recorded faults have been rectified.
2. Conduct a Visual Inspection: This ensures that all emergency lights are unobstructed, and no changes to the building compromise compliance with BS5266.
3. Perform Routine Testing: We will carry out all required testing procedures in accordance with BS5266.

Upon completion of the maintenance work:

• The logbook will be updated by the Infinite Fire & Security Engineer.
• A service certificate will be issued for each system.
• An engineer’s report will be provided, detailing any recommendations or required repairs.

Additional Costs:

The servicing cost does not include the supply of spare parts or the labour required to fit them. Any additional works will be priced separately, and a quotation will be issued for your approval before proceeding.

By accepting our Service and Maintenance proposal, you ensure your emergency lighting system is regularly tested and maintained in compliance with BS5266, manufacturer recommendations, and insurance requirements.

Emergency Call-Out Service:

Our agreement includes access to our 365-day, 24-hour emergency call-out service.

During maintenance visits, any faults or deficiencies will be documented in the engineer’s report. Any recommended remedial works will be clearly outlined. Please note that materials, spare parts, or associated labour are not included in the maintenance agreement and will be charged separately.
