Every year on August 1st, we proudly mark Yorkshire Day, a celebration of the culture, history, and identity of England’s largest and arguably most iconic county. From rolling dales and rugged coastlines to literary legends and a strong sense of pride, Yorkshire offers plenty to shout about — and here at Infinite, we’re raising a mug (of course!) to do just that.
While Yorkshire has given the world many treasures — from the Brontë sisters to the Yorkshire pudding — we’d argue one of its most essential contributions is something much closer to our hearts (and desks): Yorkshire Tea.
Let’s be honest — around here, we don’t just drink tea. We rely on it. Whether we’re brainstorming big ideas, chasing deadlines, or just taking five for a well-earned breather, it’s a constant companion. You’ll often hear “anyone fancy a brew?” echo through the office — and more often than not, it’s Yorkshire Tea in the pot. Strong, reliable, and no-nonsense — it’s basically the unofficial team member.
So, on this Yorkshire Day, we’re not only celebrating all the things that make God’s Own County special — we’re also giving a quiet nod of thanks to the brew that keeps the wheels turning at Infinite.
