Technology these days moves at lightening speed. If you follow our social medias, you’ll have seen that recently we have been to Dahua, who are our suppliers of all things CCTV, to gain further knowledge of all the new technology they have to offer. So that in turn, we can pass this along to our customers and offer you the latest and best products to fit your requirements.
We also attended this training to get specific knowledge of a brand new camera/technology that has just come to the market. Its so new, there isn’t even any marketing literature! We have fitted a few of these cameras for our customers over the past few weeks and we really are astounded by the quality. CCTV over the years has slowly improved. Higher resolution cameras and infrared technology to see in the dark have been the main advancements. Until now. Dahua have introduced their new STARVIS technology. It is a full colour camera, and when they say full colour, they mean full colour. This camera allows you to see everything in crystal clear colour both day AND NIGHT! Even if you have low lighting at your property. Available as a 2MP and 4MP camera, they don’t cost the earth either. They have been priced as such so that both domestic and commercial properties can afford the latest technologies without it taking your last penny.
There are many CCTV installation adverts around at the moment – mostly on social media. Most are unaccredited companies that are offering after market D-grade cameras with no mention of warranty. They are not systems you can put much safety confidence in. Here at Infinite, we are fully accredited by SSAIB, something that we are VERY proud and its something we work VERY hard to maintain year-on-year.
